Errors and Musical Labours Fill
Shakespeare in the Park Bill

From the creators of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson comes a musical version of Love's Labour's Lost, which will be joining The Comedy of Errors for the 2013 Shakespeare in the Park season at The Delacorte in New York's Central Park.

The Public LogoObie Award winner Michael Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher) reunite for a fresh and unexpected evening of song, sonnets, and Shakespeare with Love's Labour's Lost, continuing The Public Theater's long tradition of premiering new musicals in New York's magical summer setting. Alex Timbers directs.

Daniel Sullivan will direct a new production of The Comedy of Errors, which will feature Jesse Tyler Ferguson from the TV sitcom Modern Family and Hamish Linklater of The New Adventures of Old Christine. This will be the first time in 20 years The Public has staged this comedy in Central Park.

The Comedy of Errors will run May 28–June 30, Love's Labour's Lost July23–August 18.
