Carol and Carols: Choirs Perform Pre-Show

Fourteen choirs from across northeast Ohio will provide musical merriment for audience members before select performances of Great Lakes Theater's 23rd annual production of A Christmas Carol at the Ohio Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, Cleveland. Each 30-minute, pre-performance concert will commence 45 minutes before scheduled curtain times of A Christmas Carol in the festively decorated lobby of the Ohio Theatre.

The choirs include community singing clubs, chamber singers, high school and middle school ensembles, a handbell choir, and church choirs.

“We're truly grateful to our holiday choir partners for sharing their extraordinary talents with our A Christmas Carol audiences,” GLT's Marketing and Public Relations Director Todd Krispinsky said in a press release. “In addition to celebrating a gifted collection of singers, our annual choir collaboration initiative affords an amazing benefit for our audience members, affirms our company's long-standing commitment to community partnerships, and provides a robust and affordable entertainment option for families seeking to create a unique holiday memory.”
